Post Peel Lotion
A light moisturising lotion formulated to soothe and protect the skin following the application of chemical peels. The lotion contains soothing agents, skin conditioning agents, hydrating agents and most importantly, as the skin is more vulnerable to sun-damage following a chemical peel, a sun screen that provides 93% protection from UVA / UVB radiation.
Active agents
Taurine: A natural ingredient that provides pronounced healing properties to damaged or injured skin. Considering that chemical peels provide a controlled method of ‘injuring’ the skin to provoke the skin’s own regenerative abilities then Taurine is the perfect accompaniment
Betaine: A natural ingredient derived from beet; it is a potent soothing (ant-inflammatory) and hydrating agent. Reduces post peel inflammation and prevents undue drying of the skin that is a typical consequence of peel applications
