Salicylic Toner with Salicylic Acid for Acne
Ideal for oily, combination, and acne prone skin

Actual salicylic content 5% pH 3.7 – 3.8
How to use Salicylic Toner
Take a cotton pad (supplied) with the solution and wipe over the skin. Allow 1 minute for the solution to penetrate the follicles.
Take a second cotton pad and again dampen with the solution. This time however work the cotton pad over the skin by rubbing gently in small circles paying particular attention to congested areas (typically the T-Zone).
The mechanical action of rubbing the cotton pad over the skin along with the chemical action of the alcohol and salicylic will allow the fibres in the cotton pad to trap some of the gunk in the follicles and facilitate it’s removal.
One application will not remove the gunk and it will take several applications to make progress. The length of time it takes to clear all the congestion will depend on how congested the pores are to begin with.
There is no need to rinse the skin.
This method can be used daily but, if you find your skin becoming overly dry or showing evidence of irritation (slight redness) then carry out the procedure on alternate days.
This procedure can also be quite effective at relieving Keratosis Pilaris ( a build up keratin in the follicles manifesting as small, sometimes inflamed, bumps under the skin typically on the arms and legs
