Our foaming cleansers feature a unique blend of plant derived surfactants that offer a 100% natural alternative to the traditional sulphate based systems, and offer a remarkable cleansing performance that leaves the skin thoroughly clean without the drying effect associated with harsh SLS cleansers.

Sulphate based systems (typically SLS – sodium sulphate laureth) feature in the vast majority of hard and liquid soaps, shampoos, and gels, However SLS systems can strip the skin of natural oils which can make the skin overly-dry. SLS systems are also notorious for exacerbating acne as SLS systems are considered to be amongst the most comedogenic ingredients in skin care products. Often those with oily or combination skin and are prone to spots and outbreaks will endeavour to reduce oil in the skin and control outbreaks by using soap (typically containing SLS) without realising that the more they wash the skin, the worse they are making it.
