Vitamin A (Retinyl Palmitate)
is regarded by dermatologists as one of the most important vitamins for skin. Indeed some experts state that Vitamin A is perhaps the best active ingredient you can apply to the skin.
It’s primary attribute is that it stimulates skin cell turnover. By this process it thickens and stimulates the dermis – where your collagen, elastin and blood vessels are – so it reduces wrinkles and increases blood flow to the surface of the skin.
As a consequence of improved skin cell turnover Vitamin A also increases the manufacture of collagen leading to a reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
normalises blood flow and helps to reduce the symptoms of rosacea
increases the rate of wound healing
exfoliates – making skin smooth and even-toned
repairs the cellular structure of the epidermis – optimising your UV protection
decreases clustering of melanin granules – so reducing brown spots or pigmentation
decreases sebum production and thus treats acne brilliantly
Improves hydration both in and around the cell by doing all of the above
Our A+ cream also contains Vitamin E which protects the skin from free radical damage. Free radicals are regarded as one of the biggest ageing factors and application of Vitamin E can significantly slow down premature ageing of the skin.
Our cream also contains Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) which provvides a wealth of benefits for the skin. Niacinamide can help reduce uneven skin colour (hyperpigmentation) and reduce the appearance of blemishes and age spots. Niacinamide also boosts skin hydration.
Vitamin A and Niacinamide also create a synergistic bond which boosts the performance of the two vitamins.
Our A+ cream incorporates skin beneficial plant oils and is also packed with powerful hydrating agents hyaluronic acid, glycerine, and jojoba esters – which will visibly plump your skin leading to a further reduction in fine lines.
